Ornithological Station of Bocca di Caset

One of the most mysterious and charming phenomena in the natural world: migration. At an altitude of 1,600 m, by the ornithological station in Bocca di Caset, along the Italian-Spanish migratory route which crosses the alpine territory, you will be able to observe and discover the secrets of birds' long autumn journey. Every year, from August to October, hundreds of different species cross this mountain pass, and the researchers of the Station observe and document this crossing through the scientific bird ringing.
